Role Summary
You will be a trusted partner to hospitals and healthcare professionals, helping them choose the right solutions for better patient care. Your success directly contributes to longer, healthier lives for patients who rely on our technologies.
You will serve as a critical bridge between innovation and the front lines of care — combining sales acumen and customer empathy to make a real difference.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell medical equipment, consumable products to government, private and NGO sectors, able to develop long term business relationship with existing and potential clients.
- Work closely with other departments eg. Marketing, Clinical etc to achieve set objectives.
- Identify customer needs and provide appropriate resources through liaison with clinical, technical and sales teams within Fresenius Medical Care.
- Initiate, coordinate and execute funding applications for patients.
- Participate in offering service contracts to customers and responsible for tenders, ensuring our response is professional and attractive.
- To maintain highly respected relationships, within & outside the organization.
- Regularly gather market insights and competitors’ activities.
- Provide monthly report and sales forecast to the Business Manager on all your sales activities.
- Manage other administrative tasks that will be assigned based on the business and department needs from time to time (inventory, database, competitor analysis among other key tasks).
- Any other tasks, support and territories as deemed required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Medical Science, Nursing, Pharmacy/Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in medical equipment or pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with Malaysia’s public and private healthcare/hospital system is an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial, self‑motivated, results‑driven, commercially savvy, articulate, confident, and with a pleasant personality.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with a positive attitude; proactive, reliable, and responsible.
- Comfortable managing tight timelines and challenging demands, while remaining motivated by the rewarding nature of the role.
- Possesses own transport and willing to travel outstation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
