Business Development Officer

Location: Kuala Lumpur / Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inbound leads across various online and offline marketing and referral channels.

  • Drive client acquisition and retention by achieving high conversion rates and identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Proactively build a sales pipeline through outbound calls, email campaigns, event participation, and networking.
  • Utilize CRM, sales enablement, and marketing automation tools to improve prospecting and follow‑up efficiency.
  • Coordinate with professional service delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and a seamless client experience.
  • Track and achieve monthly KPIs, including meetings, sales activities, and client sign‑ups.
  • Provide market feedback and assist in refining the go‑to‑market strategy.
Requirements:
  • 1–3+ years of experience in a client‑facing or consultative sales role.
  • Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of corporate services (accounting, HR, payroll, company formation, or EOR) and regulatory environments in Malaysia and/or Hong Kong is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese and/or Mandarin (to support regional clients in HK, China, and other overseas markets).
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales or business development targets.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Energetic, self‑motivated, positive, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven.
  • Able to work independently and handle pressure in a dynamic environment.
