Business Development Manager (Medical Product)

We are looking for a highly driven and resourceful Personal Assistant cum Business Development Manager to support the Chief Executive Officer, Manufacturing Division. This is a strategic, fast-paced role that combines executive support, business development, and project management, working closely with the CEO on daily operations and growth initiatives.

Business Development & Strategy
  • Develop, execute and track business strategies that drive growth and create new business opportunities.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, partners and business opportunities; organise meetings and presentations with them.
  • Conduct market research and analysis; compile data and provide insights and recommendations to support CEO decision-making.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors and market changes, proposing ideas to keep the business competitive.
  • Support and monitor key projects, working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful execution.
  • Track and update business and operational reports (e.g. annual budget, quarterly reviews, project status).
Executive & Office Support
  • Act as the first point of contact for the CEO with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the CEO’s office to ensure smooth running of plant and office operations.
  • Organise and manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, appointments and events.
  • Prepare, review and refine presentations, reports, speeches, letters and other documents.
  • Handle correspondence, documentation and filing in an organised and confidential manner.
  • Arrange complex local and overseas travel (flights, hotels, logistics, itineraries).
Reporting & Documentation
  • Produce and maintain high-quality reports, dashboards, presentations and briefs for management review.
  • Proofread and quality-check documents (emails, proposals, reports, marketing materials) for accuracy and clarity.
  • Support special projects and ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the CEO.
Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role supporting C-level executives, preferably with exposure to business development.

Skills & Competencies

  • Trilingual: Fluent in English, Mandarin and Malay (spoken and written); able to draft high-level documents and presentations. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with good presentation skills.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools, platforms and social media.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills; sharp with costs and financial figures.
  • Solid understanding of business development, markets, and competitive landscape.
