Salary Range: RM6,000 – RM10,000 (Basic) + Incentives + Bonus
Diamond Technique Sdn Bhd (Dtec) is one of Malaysia’s leading distributors of European commercial vehicle spare parts. We represent world‑class OE brands such as ZF, WABCO, Bosch Sachs, Mahle, Schaeffler, FAG, SKF, Hella Motorservice, KS and BF, and carry over 28,333 SKUs, including our in‑house brand dtec-parts.
With continuous growth in fleet solutions and the expansion of Dtec Fleet, we are looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our Diamond Team. 💎
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business growth strategies for fleet, workshop, and distributor channels.
- Identify new opportunities in diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and parts programmes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet owners, workshops, and industry partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical, and logistics teams to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and pricing structures to ensure sustainability.
- Drive adoption of Dtec Fleet, Dtec warranty commitments, and the dtec‑parts sustainability programme.
🔹 Job Criteria
Experience & Background
- 3–5 years experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or related fields.
- Experience in automotive aftermarket, fleet operations, commercial vehicle parts, or logistics is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record in B2B growth and market development.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse markets, prepare reports, and turn insights into action.
- Strategic mindset with strong execution and follow‑through.
- Ability to build long‑term client relationships across multiple customer segments.
- Comfortable using CRM and sales reporting tools.
Personality & Attributes
- Self‑driven, proactive, and result‑oriented.
- Customer‑first mindset and strong problem‑solving ability.
- High integrity, professionalism, and teamwork spirit.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive, Engineering, or related field.
- Equivalent industry experience is acceptable.
Other Requirements
- Own transport; willing to travel.
- Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage due to customer engagement.
