Business Development Executive - Vestech (Start ASAP)
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth in solar sectors across Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak, and other regions for Vestech Energy.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets within key regions including Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak, and other areas as defined by Business Unit coverage.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, and residential solar sectors.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline, managing the full cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
- Conduct site assessments and present tailored solar PV proposals to potential clients.
- Manage CRM Salesforce to log, track, and update all lead activities and statuses.
- Identify, negotiate, and secure partnership deals with channel partners, installers, and EPC contractors.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for partner onboarding and management.
- Take ownership of partner preparation, training, performance monitoring, and coaching.
- Provide ongoing support to partnership teams to drive joint sales initiatives and achieve growth targets.
- Lead end-to-end tender preparation for public and private sector projects, including costing and bill of quantities in collaboration with technical teams.
- Manage internal approval processes for tender submissions ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
- Lead negotiations with clients and suppliers to secure profitable contracts.
- Oversee timely and professional submission of tender documents and conduct follow-ups to maximize success.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and government bodies.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously without compromising quality.
