Business Development Executive/Senior Executive
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Develop and implement strategies to grow client base and market share.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client requirements and provide suitable logistics solutions.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting company services.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to secure long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with operations and marketing teams for smooth service delivery.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve services and customer experience.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track and report sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Prepare regular business development reports for management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or similar role.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain industry preferred.
- Knowledge of Malaysia logistics market and regulatory environment.
- Existing network in logistics or related industries is an advantage.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain operations.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
