Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Business Development Executive – Pharmaceutical (API) to expand API business in Malaysia. The role involves developing new customer relationships, managing key accounts, working closely with principals and manufacturers, and driving sustainable revenue growth in the pharmaceutical segment. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to API trading/distribution, excellent customer engagement skills, and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development & Sales, Key account Management
• Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) for Malaysian market
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and price negotiations, shipments etc which is part of day‑to‑day activities
• Plan & achieve assigned sales targets, gross margins, and growth objectives.
• Maintain and grow business for Malaysian market with strong relationship with local FDF manufacturers and the suppliers
• Wide network locally, trouble shoot issues independently, analytical with fine market research skills

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in API sales, business development, or pharmaceutical raw material distribution.
• Experience in any pharmaceutical, Chemical, API will be added advantage.
• Proven track record in managing pharmaceutical customers and growing sales volumes.
• Language: Fluency in English is required; additional regional languages is advantage.
