Qualifications

Amis Group of Companies is a modern, tech‑driven accounting and Xero implementation firm serving SMEs in Malaysia. We specialise in cloud accounting, automation, and e‑Invoicing implementation services. We are in a growth journey and are looking for a proactive Sales Executive to generate new business and manage sales opportunities professionally.

Role Objective

To actively generate new sales, manage inbound (30%) and outbound (70%) leads, and convert one‑off service opportunities into revenue, while supporting smooth project delivery through proper handover and client follow‑up.

Must‑Have
  • 1–3 years experience in sales, business development, or customer‑facing roles
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and follow‑ups
  • Good communication skills in English (Mandarin is an advantage)
  • Self‑driven, disciplined, and results‑oriented
Nice‑to‑Have
  • Experience in cloud accounting software (Xero/Bukku) industry
  • Exposure to cloud technologies and integrations

Responsibilities
  1. New Business Development (Outbound Sales – Core Responsibility)
    • Proactively identify and approach potential SME customers via cold calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking events
    • Conduct initial discovery conversations and qualify prospects
    • Generate new sales opportunities for accounting, implementation, and e‑Invoicing services
  2. Inbound Lead Management
    • Follow up on all inbound leads promptly and professionally
    • Qualify leads and schedule meetings or demos with the founder or implementation team
    • Ensure no inbound lead is ignored or left without follow‑up
  3. Sales Conversion & Deal Closure
    • Present company services at a high level (non‑technical)
    • Handle pricing discussions within approved guidelines
    • Close simple service deals independently
    • Escalate complex or technical matters to the founder or implementation team
    • Follow up on proposals and quotations until closure
  4. CRM & Sales Reporting
    • Maintain accurate CRM records including lead source, deal stage, value, and next action
    • Prepare weekly sales pipeline and activity reports
    • Track reasons for won/lost deals
  5. Sales Support for Project Completion
    • Ensure proper handover of closed deals to the implementation team
    • Support follow‑up with clients for:
      • Document submission
      • Scheduling and availability
      • Payment milestones
    • Coordinate with Operations to help prevent delays caused by client inaction or miscommunication
