Japanese automotive parts manufacturer (TOYOTA group) Branch Office in Malaysia is looking for an experienced staff to expand aftermarket parts business.

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven and proactive Business Development Executive with a relevant background in the automotive industry and a proven track record in sales. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and driving growth across automotive-related products or services.

Key Responsibilities
  • The overall goal of this position is to conduct automotive parts research, planning and create strategy to expand and achieve sales goal of new or existing products for Malaysia market.
  • Working together with the team for appropriate strategy, such as application range, specification, benchmarking, for existing and potential automotive aftermarket parts business.
  • Obtain market information on market demand, competitors’ movements, government regulations etc and for new products and strategy development.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Workout plans and program to helps customers to digest the stock in their warehouse.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations work with technical PIC.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to align business strategies with client requirements.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and adjust business development strategies accordingly.
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client communications.
Requirements
  • Familiar with Malaysia automotive parts industry
  • Automotive technical knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Travel within Malaysia and overseas occasionally.
  • Good communication, analysis and presentation skill
  • Malaysian and able to speak English & Mandarin and dialects in order to communicate with associates and clients
  • Minimum Diploma
  • Familiar with MS Office, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Valid class 3 driving license
  • Able to start work at a short notice
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and hit targets
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English (spoken & written) is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers.
