Industry: Road Construction & Maintenance (Government & Private Sector)
Reporting To: Head of Business Development
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and evaluate potential government and private projects related to road construction and maintenance.
- Coordinate and prepare tender documentation, proposals, and related submissions.
- Maintain updated knowledge of tender requirements, pricing strategies, and government procurement procedures.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies (e.g., JKR, MADA, MMC, etc.) and private developers.
- Conduct courtesy visits, follow-ups, and regular engagement with clients to explore new opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally during meetings, presentations, and site visits.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify upcoming projects, competitor movements, and pricing benchmarks.
- Provide management with analysis and recommendations to strengthen bidding competitiveness.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with the technical, project, and finance teams to ensure proposals meet operational and financial viability.
- Monitor project award progress and assist in post-award negotiations if required.
Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly BD reports highlighting progress, new opportunities, and follow-ups.
- Maintain updated databases of tenders, clients, and potential projects.
