We are seeking a Business Consultant to support and manage a portfolio of sub-franchisee Subway restaurants. This role partners closely with franchisees to drive sales growth, operational excellence, brand compliance, and financial governance, while acting as a trusted business advisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and improve performance of assigned Subway restaurants, including sales, profitability, labour and food cost.
  • Provide hands-on business consulting and coaching to franchisees on operations, staffing, promotions and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with Subway brand standards, SOPs, food safety, halal requirements and local regulations.
  • Monitor accurate sales reporting and timely royalty payments, working closely with finance teams on discrepancies.
  • Support local restaurant marketing initiatives and execution of national campaigns.
  • Conduct regular store visits, audits and performance reviews, with structured follow-ups.
  • Act as the main liaison between franchisees and head office teams, providing performance and risk reporting.
Requirements
  • 5–8 years’ experience in F&B operations, franchise management or multi-unit restaurant management.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with solid P&L understanding.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple outlets or advise business owners.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
Preferred
  • Experience in QSR or franchise environments.
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian market and regulatory landscape.
  • Exposure to turnaround or performance improvement projects.
