A leading logistics company in Petaling Jaya is seeking a matured female candidate for the Business Client Administrator position. Responsibilities include coordinating cargo shipments, providing administrative support for freight forwarding services, and managing client communications. About the hiring company

They are an established and leading well run logistics company in Malaysia, providing international freight forwarding and logistics services across a wide range of industries and sectors. They operate from network of international agents across Asia, Australia, Europe and America. Currently they are actively seeking a matured female candidate to assume the position of Business Client Administrator with freight administration support role within the organization. The position is permanent and will be based at their corporate head office in Petaling Jaya. This is a rare and unique opportunity for a career driven person to join this successful organization.

About the role

This position will be reporting to senior manager of the export operations division.

  • Your main responsibilities will be to assist and support in the coordination of multi-modal cargo shipments-mainly export FCL/LCL and break bulk cargo sea freight.
  • Responsible for providing high level executive and administrative support on matters relating to freight forwarding services.
  • Responsible for daily management, e-mails, preparation and formatting of reports.
  • Respond and advise efficiently to electronic or verbal inquiries on all matters that concern the senior Manager of Export Division.
  • Liaise and coordinate business decisions.
  • Assist to manage a portfolio of accounts end to end.
  • Provide front line support for the Manager with new and potential business clients, including presenting quotation/freight rates based on sales proposals.
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support sales process.

In this respect, you should possess a proven good command of English, both spoken and written; a good writing skills in English. Besides, a good business background at senior level is essential and necessary. You need to be flexible and willing to take on tasks in quite a different areas of work in support of the portfolio of sales activities.

Candidate Profile

This position will suit an individual with a minimum of three years of export freight operational experience with sound knowledge of EDI Enterprise.

  • Malaysian female in age group 30-45.
  • Matured, lively and personable disposition.
  • Possess minimum a Diploma or degree qualification in Business Administration or Logistics Management.
  • At least 2-3 years of combined working experience as a Executive Assistant or Sales Administration Support role in previous capacity role.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written plus conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.
  • Strong computer application skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point and Outlook.
