The digital automation center (DAC) is the Express Global RPA expertise center, providing high-quality, complex digital services for various DHL business units worldwide. Besides RPA, we utilize other digital technologies such as GenAI, ML, NLP, API, Smart OCR, and image processing. DAC is part of the CEO's office, positioned to foster digital momentum, with teams based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; San Jose, Costa Rica; and Maastricht, Netherlands.

Overall role purpose
As a Business Analyst, you will manage global deployment projects and lead project streams or workgroups, overseeing people, project, and performance management. Your analytical and conceptual skills will be vital in solving complex problems. Your work involves detailed process analyses to monitor digital solutions and identify gaps requiring action.
Your business area
You will be part of our Digital Automation Center, based in Kuala Lumpur.
Main accountabilities:
Business analysis services
- Conduct detailed process analyses for endorsed initiatives to evaluate the suitability of digital automation solutions.
- Perform GAP analyses to ensure digital solutions are appropriate for specific countries or regions.
- Use agile data modeling practices to analyze and suggest suitable business solutions.
- Monitor digital solutions, identify GAPS, and prepare technical or business reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Conduct insightful ad hoc analyses to investigate operational issues.
Project management
- Support project managers in assessment and management of deployments.
- Develop standard deployment tools for regional and global use.
- Oversee deployment rollouts and maintain deployment heat maps.
- Lead testing and acceptance of project results.
- Manage streams or smaller project teams, translating project requirements into objectives and tasks.
- Assist in managing project plans and processes for successful execution.
- Proactively monitor risks, issues, and scope, escalating as necessary.
- Gather feedback at key milestones and project completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Apply project management methodologies consistently.
Stakeholder management & Teamwork
- Manage multiple stakeholders across countries, gaining buy-in for project goals.
- Address task-related issues to maintain relationships.
- Contribute to team efforts and achieve related results.
- Explain policies and practices clearly within the organization.
- Build relationships, understand stakeholder interests, and communicate effectively.
- Collaborate and influence to gather requirements and support project teams.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of DHL experience and/or project management experience; familiarity with digital technologies is beneficial.
- At least 3 years’ experience in business analysis and/or leading global projects.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
