Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Analyst to capture customer requirements and recommend system solutions. The role involves analyzing user needs, designing functional solutions, and ensuring proper documentation. Ideal candidates will possess a Diploma/Bachelor's in IT, 1-2 years of experience, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with the Insurance Industry is a plus. This position requires frequent on-site work at customer premises.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years Business Analysis working experience.
• Experience in the Insurance Industry is an added advantage.

Job Description

Business Analysis role capturing customer’s requirements, recommending solutions and translating the requirement into system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing user requirements and establishing system objectives.
• Designing the system’s functional solution
• Prepare system documentation such as user requirement specification, functional specifications and user manual, etc.
• Main liaison between customers and development team.
• Work with customer and developers to support end user acceptance testing.
• Work with Project Coordinator/Manager to follow-up and control User requirement change
• Conduct user training while needed.
• Coordinate with customers and development team to design and implement information systems.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years Business Analysis working experience
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Must be detail and quality oriented with ability to identify, define and convey requirements via multiple scenarios to assess the real business problems/requirements, and subsequently validate with business & end users for any update.
• Must be self-motivated and have excellent follow-through.
• Experience in Insurance Industry is an added advantage.
• The candidate must be willing to be based at the customer's premises most of the time.
