Brand Marketing Executive (Modern Trade)

Join En Compass Sdn Bhd as a Trade Marketing Executive based in Elmina, Selangor. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness within the trade channel. With a focus on trade marketing, you will work closely with key retail partners to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns that increase product visibility and customer engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategic trade marketing plans
  • Manage and coordinate promotional activities, such as in-store displays, product demonstrations, product launches, promoter management and joint marketing initiatives with retail partners to increase consumer awareness and engagement
  • Gather and analyse market data to identify trends and opportunities, and use this information to inform trade marketing strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners, ensuring excellent customer service and timely communication
  • Assist in executing brand strategies and marketing plans to meet business growth targets. Assist in the development of marketing materials and assets tailored for the trade channel
  • Manage and monitor the trade marketing budget for assigned brands or channels, ensuring all activities are executed within financial guidelines
  • Monitor and report on the success of trade marketing campaigns, making recommendations for improvements. Provide input and support for broader marketing initiatives, as required
  • Prepare and maintain brand performance reports, providing actionable insights to optimize marketing effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in brand marketing, trade marketing or similar role, preferably within the FMCG industry (Modern Trade/ Pharmacy/ Super/Hypermarket)
  • Strong understanding of trade marketing principles and the ability to develop and execute effective campaigns
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with trade partners
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use insights to inform marketing strategies
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in brand marketing. Proactive and solution-oriented, with a keen eye for detail
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and techniques, and a willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends
