Brand Art Director (Brand campaign & visual identity) Brand: CONELI
We are looking for a Brand Art Director to elevate and unify the brand advertising image for Coneli & XCRIIM. Our market presence is already established — we now need a professional to lead the visual direction, build a consistent brand system, and drive high-quality campaign execution across all touchpoints.
Note: External partnership liaison is handled by the Founders. This role focuses on brand image & advertising visuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Visual Direction
- Define and lead the brand advertising look & feel (tone, style, premium level, consistency).
- Build and maintain a Brand Visual System (typography, layout rules, color usage, KV standards, photo style).
- Ensure visual consistency across social, offline materials, events, store visuals, and website assets.
- Create and oversee campaign Key Visuals (KV) and full adaptations for both online and offline usage.
- Translate brand messages into strong visual concepts, ensuring campaigns look cohesive and on-brand.
- Develop templates and modular systems to scale content efficiently without losing quality.
- Production & Quality Control
- Lead design execution and review outputs: posters, banners, backdrops, booths, brochures, product visuals, event materials, etc.
- Work with external vendors (printing/installation) to ensure correct specs and premium finishing.
- Provide clear briefs, manage revisions, and control deadlines and versions.
- Collaborate closely with Founders, internal teams, and suppliers to align visuals with brand direction.
- Guide designers / freelancers / vendors when needed (feedback, standards, workflow).
Requirements (Must-have)
- 5+ years in branding/advertising/design, with 2+ years in an Art Director / Lead role.
- Strong portfolio in brand campaigns + KV systems + identity work (must show series adaptations and consistency).
- Ability to build a visual system, not just individual designs.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Strong understanding of print production & large-format output (color, bleed, file specs, materials).
- Excellent communication and project ownership (timeline control, revision control, vendor coordination).
Bonus (Nice-to-have)
- Experience with sportswear / footwear / sports events branding.
- Ability to art-direct photography/video style and create shooting briefs.
- Basic understanding of brand messaging / storytelling (key message → visual).
- Working proficiency in English + (Chinese or Malay).
