Position Summary

Adapt Global MCPs to achieve sub-region net sales, gross margin, and share objectives, implement the marketing strategy supporting the stated commercial objectives for the assigned brands. To conceptualize, plan & lead local brand activations to help grow faster than category, achieve higher consumer engagement and improved brand equity of assigned brands, thereby leading to improved shares & business health.

Responsibilities
  • Adapt sub-region Marketing Cycle Plan (align with global and IDM plans) as part of Annual Business Plan process
  • Manage execution of activities during key weeks to deliver volume and net sales during seasonal peaks
  • Coordinate closely with commercial teams to plan merchandising/visibility needs in modern and traditional channels, must be planned at ABP time and reviewed quarterly
  • Manage relationships with BTL and digital agencies to ensure local planning and execution of activities
  • Critically analyze Nielsen audit data and category trends and review pricing, portfolio and distribution for business segments vs. competition in major markets
  • Work with Finance to analyze business segments for range volume, net sales and gross margin and issue updates to Cluster leadership and commercial teams
  • Monitor and track competitor promotional activity
  • Ensure that A&P spending and phasing is as per ABP/QF planning
  • Liaise with Int’l Category Development team to source decks that can be adapted to support segments growth in modern trade channels
What we are looking for
  • Degree or equivalent required with an emphasis on Business, Marketing or similar
  • Significant operational experience in brand, shopper marketing, category management, and digital marketing in a locally or globally recognized CPG/FMCG corporation
  • Solid understanding of key accounts and traditional trade retail environments
  • Solid conceptual and number/analytical skills
  • Agency and supplier management experience
  • Fluent English with cross-market/multi-cultural exposure
  • Ability to effectively communicate to and lead internal and external teams
  • Demonstrated competencies in influencing, collaboration, team leadership, change management, strategic thinking and achieving results in alignment with business goals.
