Brand Account Executive (Mandarin Speaking) – Kuala Lumpur based

We are a branding and design consultancy seeking a Brand Account Executive to join our growing team. This is a client-facing, hands-on role that encompasses account servicing and project coordination, suited for someone who enjoys managing client relationships while ensuring brand projects are delivered smoothly and on time.

In this role, you will work closely with clients, designers, and strategists, taking ownership of communication, coordination, and execution across branding and creative projects.

Key Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience in account servicing, project coordination, or branding-related roles, ideally within a creative agency, branding consultancy, or design studio environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Proficient in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, with confidence in communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients.

  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver projects on schedule.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written, comfortable engaging with clients, creatives, and external vendors.

  • Good judgment in planning and negotiating realistic deadlines, balancing quality, resources, and expectations.

  • Basic understanding of branding, design, or marketing workflows, including approvals, revisions, and creative deliverables.

  • Familiar with Canva and Adobe Illustrator, with the ability to review, handle, and make minor adjustments to design files as needed.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace for documentation, task tracking, and presentations.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, able to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

  • Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability, with a consistent follow-through on responsibilities and commitments.

Responsibilities
  • Central Point of Contact: Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and workflow coordination.

  • Brief-to-Plan Translation: Translate client briefs into structured timelines, clear deliverables, and actionable work plans.

  • Deadline Negotiation: Set and negotiate realistic deadlines with clients, balancing creative quality, team capacity, and project expectations.

  • Project Monitoring: Oversee project progress by coordinating schedules, facilitating meetings, and managing feedback cycles to meet key milestones.

  • Timely Delivery & Client Relationship: Ensure projects are delivered on time while maintaining positive, professional, and long-term client relationships.

  • Presentation & Documentation: Prepare professional presentation materials, status reports, and project documentation as required.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Support strategic planning and actively contribute to creative discussions to ensure brand and business alignment.

  • Creative Team Coordination: Work closely with designers, directors, and strategists to maintain consistency, quality, and project clarity across all deliverables.

  • Feedback Management: Consolidate and clarify client feedback, manage revisions, and ensure expectations are communicated accurately across all stakeholders.
