A leading financial institution is seeking a Branch Manager responsible for business development and management. This role involves enhancing branch performance and ensuring sustainable growth. Ideal candidates will have a degree and over 5 years of experience in banking or related fields, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. There are opportunities across various regions, and the role promotes a culture of continuous improvement and team collaboration.
The Branch Manager is responsible for all aspects of business development, management functions from operation to revenue generation, contributing towards achieving the region’s overall profitability targets. By providing leadership, monitoring performance, driving continuous improvement, and acting as a liaison with senior management, the Branch Manager ensures the branch’s sustainable growth and competitiveness in the market. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Community General Manager.

Drive sustainable growth and acquisition of new customers for Auto Loan, Mortgage, Cards, Unsecured Loans, Investment, SME & Insurance;
Monitor the performance of the branch (financial, operational and customer service) while establishing appropriate metrics and benchmarks to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of each branch and identify areas for improvement;
Seek out opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and cost savings by reviewing best practices, industry trends, and market conditions;
Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes, providing valuable insights and recommendations based on their understanding of the cluster's operations and market dynamics.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing among the branches, promoting the exchange of ideas and experiences that lead to enhanced operational performance;
Work with cross functional departments to ensure alignment in lending direction and continuous feedback loop on business opportunities and risk areas to avoid;
Collaborate strategically with Management teams of other business segments and sales channels to solicit high net worth referral, upgrade and business opportunity.
A Degree/ Diploma/ Professional Certification in any field from a recognized College/ University.
Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance or a related field from any recognized university.
5 years and above related working experience, ideally in a Branch Customer Service, Mortgage/Hire Purchase/Personal Loan/Credit Cards Direct Sales, Wealth Management Relationship role.
Strong people management and leadership skills, with ability to guide and train a team of staff to achieve sales target and service standards.
Good interpersonal and communication, organizational and planning skills.
