The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and 3–5 years of experience in blow moulding, along with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in blow moulding operations (extrusion/injection/stretch blow).
• Strong understanding of plastic materials (HDPE, PP, PET, etc.).
• Knowledge of machine troubleshooting, mould installation, and process optimization.

Job description

Supervise and coordinate blow moulding machine operators and production staff.

Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production to meet output targets.

Ensure machines are set up, started, and operated correctly.

Optimize cycle times, material usage, and machine productivity.

Maintain production records, shift reports, and quality documentation.

2. Machine & Process Control

Oversee setup, operation, adjustments, and troubleshooting of blow moulding machines

Monitor machine parameters, temperatures, pressures, and cycle times to ensure stability.

Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with the engineering/maintenance team.

Identify and resolve mechanical or process-related issues that affect production.

3. Quality Assurance

Ensure products meet required specifications and standards.

Inspect production output for defects and inconsistencies.

Implement corrective actions to address quality deviations.

Train operators on quality checks, proper handling, and best manufacturing practices.

Lead and mentor machine operators, packers, and helpers.

Conduct training on machine operation, safety, and quality procedures.

Monitor performance and enforce discipline, attendance, and workplace behavior.

Promote teamwork and a safe, clean working environment.

5. Safety & Compliance

Enforce compliance with safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies.

Conduct routine safety checks on machines and working areas.

Ensure adherence to ISO, GMP, or other regulatory requirements.

Recommend process improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.

Assist in trials for new moulds, materials, and machine upgrades.

Analyze downtime and implement action plans to minimize recurrence.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience.

3–5 years of experience in blow moulding operations (extrusion/injection/stretch blow).

Strong understanding of plastic materials (HDPE, PP, PET, etc.).

Knowledge of machine troubleshooting, mould installation, and process optimization.

Leadership and team management abilities.

Good communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with ISO/Quality Systems and safety regulations.

This person will be base in Sungai Buloh.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with brands such as Bekum, Sidel, Krones, SMC, Magic, or similar machines.

Experience in FMCG, packaging, bottles, or container manufacturing.

Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical maintenance.
