Job summary

A technology solutions company located in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Proposal Lead to oversee the preparation of IT infrastructure proposals. The successful candidate will manage the tender processes end-to-end, ensuring compliance and timely submissions. Candidates should possess at least a degree in Information Technology and have a minimum of three years relevant experience. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the preparation of all assigned proposals which meet the requirements of the customers and compliance to tender specifications
  • Prepares the proposals in a timely manner to comply with internal review requirements and customer requirements
  • Lead, follow‑up and be responsible for tenders / Request For Proposal submissions to clients, which involve IT infrastructure solutions (Data Center, Desktop, Systems, Storage, Network, Security etc) and IT Services
  • Lead and drive the tender team towards meeting objectives and escalate to relevant parties when necessary
  • Ensures precise and accurate documentation & information for compliance, including company information / profiles, project references, letter of authorisations, CVs for tender submissions
  • Lead the bid process end to end
  • Monthly update and consolidation of tender statistics of all tenders assigned by Bid Manager
  • Printing and compiling of final proposal documents for submission
Requirements
  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent with minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Possess knowledge in IT infrastructure which covers Desktop, Network, Server, Storage, Security and with IT Services methodology like ITIL
  • Strong in proposal writing
  • Well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Proactive with good time management and the ability to multi‑task
