As a Beauty Advisor at Kens Apothecary, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right skincare and beauty products. Your role includes providing product recommendations, conducting demonstrations, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Engage customers in conversation to understand their skincare needs and preference.
- Encourage hands‑on experience to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
- Utilize customer information to provide personalized recommendations and follow‑up on their skincare and beauty journeys.
- Assist in achieving individual and store sales targets through effective product recommendations and upselling techniques.
- Learn and apply proven sales strategies to enhance the overall sales performance of the store.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
- Acquire and maintain in‑depth knowledge of skincare, beauty, and wellness products in the store.
- Stay informed about new product releases, ingredients, and brand stores.
LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
- Actively participate in training sessions provided by management or seniors.
- Proactively seek opportunities for personal and professional development in the beauty and skincare industry.
- Implement feedback received from senior team members to improve selling techniques and customer interactions.
STORE OPERATION
- Assist cleanliness of the store before, during, and after closing the store.
- Assist the product display in good condition and replace broken testers or broken stock; report back to the relevant parties – Store Manager/Logistics department.
- Keep updating the checklist on daily area to focus on the store before, during and after closing the store.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in beauty retail or skincare advisory roles.
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build customer relationships.
- In‑depth knowledge of skincare and beauty products is preferred.
- Ability to lead by example and support the development of junior team members.
- Flexible working retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
