Bartender (Sunway City Hotels Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
- Engage with guests, take beverage orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment and glassware are properly sanitized and stocked.
- Create unique and innovative cocktails while adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing guests with correct change and receipts.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests.
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent customer service and a seamless dining experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a reputable establishment, with a strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and drink mixing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of current industry trends, popular beverages, and customer preferences.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hotel's operation schedule.
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification preferred.
