A leading technology firm in Malaysia is seeking a skilled professional for a role focusing on data-driven sales and market trend analysis. This position involves generating reports and supporting marketing initiatives. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, experience in sales or marketing analysis, and proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI. A proactive approach and strong analytical skills are essential. This role offers a dynamic working environment where teamwork is key.
Perform data-driven sales and market trend analysis to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.
Generate regular and ad hoc reports with actionable insights to guide decision-making for sales, marketing and leadership teams.
Support ISPI (Integrated Sales & Performance Insights) marketing initiatives and lead performance tracking.
Streamline sales processes and assist with sales operations, contributing to overall efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and monitor the success of campaigns and promotions.
Conduct competitor benchmarking, customer segmentation and market intelligence gathering.
Use CRM and marketing platforms to extract and interpret data, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Present analysis in a clear and concise manner through dashboards, presentations and reports.
Support strategic planning and forecasting with historical and predictive data modelling.
Contribute to the development and improvement of analytics tools, systems and methodologies.
Team player and have ready mindset to take up new responsibilities as when required.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or related field.
A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g. Google Analytics, Power BI) is a plus.
2–4 years of experience in sales analysis, marketing analysis, or business intelligence.
Experience in a fast-paced industry (e.g. FMCG, retail or B2B) is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
Ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a user-friendly format.
Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
Strong business acumen and a proactive mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
