Job summary

A technology solutions company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Azure Stack HCI solutions, managing Hyper-V environments, and ensuring high availability through effective configuration of Storage Spaces Direct. With a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cloud-based environments, candidates must also demonstrate problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning. Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in IT infrastructure or cloud-based environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate) will be an added advantage.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude toward continuous learning and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure Stack HCI hybrid infrastructure solutions tailored to business needs.
• Manage, maintain and optimize Hyper‑V virtual environments across on‑premise infrastructure.
• Configure, deploy and monitor Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) to ensure high availability and performance.
• Ensure smooth integration with Azure services, including backups, disaster recovery and monitoring.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning and root‑cause analysis of infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support project goals and deliver infrastructure improvements.

• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure HCI , Hyper-V Virtualization and Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience working in hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premises systems with Azure cloud solutions
