A leading solar project management company in Subang Jaya is looking for a professional to manage the application process for solar projects. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while coordinating with various government agencies. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in business administration and have at least 2 years of related experience. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential for this role.

Job description

Manage the application process for solar projects, including securing the necessary licenses and approvals from relevant authorities such as MIDA, MGTC, SEDA, SURUHANJAYA TENAGA, and TNB.

Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and government regulations pertaining to solar energy installations.

Keep comprehensive records of all submissions, approvals, and regulatory documents. Prepare and submit applications as required by authorities or internal stakeholders.

Coordinate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to facilitate licensing and application processes. Build and maintain strong relationships to expedite approvals and resolve regulatory issues.

Stay updated on changes in regulations, policies, and incentives related to solar energy in Malaysia. Evaluate the impact of regulatory updates on project schedules, costs, and feasibility.

Work closely with other departments to integrate application and licensing requirements into project plans and timelines. Collaborate with external consultants when necessary.

Ensure that all submitted applications are accurate, comply with regulatory standards, and meet quality requirements.

Conduct trainings and workshops, providing support to other departments to improve their understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance responsibilities.

Assist clients or third parties with application and licensing procedures. Respond to inquiries or concerns regarding regulatory compliance in a professional and timely manner.

Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline the application and licensing process. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
