A reputable accounting firm in Penang is looking for an experienced auditor to document audit work papers and prepare financial statements according to standards. The candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting and preferably 2-3 years of auditing experience. The role involves managing a portfolio of clients, liaising with the audit manager, and undertaking special assignments as needed. Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential for this position.
Possess Diploma (in Accounting) / Degree (in Accounting) / Professional Certificate.
Good attitude, discipline, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
Good communications, interpersonal and team work skills
Competent in using Microsoft Office, Audit Express and computer literate
2 or 3 years working experience in auditing is preferable
On the job training will be provided
To document and compile audit work papers and obtain sufficient audit evidence to support engagement partner's sign-off of the client's financial statements
Preparation of financial statements in accordance to MFRS, MPERS and auditing standards
Responsible for portfolio of clients for various industries
Liaise and report to audit manager and/or partner on progress of work and report on critical issues
Undertake special assignments on ad-hoc basis
