Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with clients as a professional financial expert advisor.
  • Work in teams to execute audit/tax plan and strategy.
  • Ensure timely completion of reports for management further analysis.
  • Prepare and conduct audit on financial statements and reports, while ensuring compliance of rules and regulations.
  • Report audit progress, findings, and significant auditing issues to senior management.
  • Assist in reviewing financial statements for other branches.
  • Support in setting up systems and enhance internal control.
  • Manage assigned audit and tax related tasks by superior.
  • Coordinate with coworkers.
  • Participate in professional training development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Team player and able to work independently, work under minimal supervision, self-motivated, flexible and is a good team player.
  • Perform statutory audits for private companies across diverse industries.
  • Prepare working papers to document audit work done, including audit planning, substantive testing and analytical review.
  • Draft financial statements in accordance with MPERS or MFRS.
  • Prepare corporate tax computations.
  • Communicate with audit clients to gather necessary information, address queries, and provide updates on audit progress.
  • Highlight audit issues, report findings, and develop good problem-solving skills to provide sound recommendations.
Having following attributes will be added advantages
  • MIA membership or other recognised Professional membership.
  • Strong communication skill for delivering quality services to clients.
  • Fundamental knowledge and Understanding of Malaysian Business Reporting System (MBRS) software.
  • Fundamental knowledge and Understanding on ISQM 1.
  • Fundamental Understanding on e-Invoicing functions.
  • Advance knowledge/ Tech savvy with auditing and tax software (AuditSME and Superior Tax) will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with audit flow and tax processes.
  • Prior leadership experience will be an advantage.
  • Fluent communication in English and Mandarin.
