Audit & Account Assistant (Fresh Graduates welcome)

At S M TUANG & CO PLT, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our audit and accounting team in Kuala Lumpur. As part of our firm, you will be primarily involved in audit assignments, supporting statutory audits and handling smaller engagements under supervision. You will work closely with experienced seniors and partners, gaining practical exposure to audit and accounting work while contributing to the firm’s ongoing growth and client service excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in performing statutory audit assignments for a portfolio of clients
• Handle small audit assignments with guidance from Audit Seniors
• Perform audit fieldwork, including vouching, testing, and documentation
• Prepare audit working papers in accordance with auditing standards
• Liaise with clients for audit queries and documentation
• Perform accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Perform any other duties and assignments as and when required

What we're looking for

• Candidates who have completed or are pursuing ACCA, Bachelor’s Degree or Graduate Diploma in Accountancy / Commerce are encouraged to apply
