Software Support Engineer (Kuala Lumpur | Hybrid)

What You’ll Do

• Support mission-critical systems – Provide Level 2 support and ensure stability of trading platforms

• Be client-focused – Work with internal & external clients to resolve issues quickly

• Collaborate & troubleshoot – Partner with IT teams and developers to diagnose & fix problems

• Daily checks & tracking – Run system checks, log & classify incidents in Jira, document solutions

• Test & validate – Ensure fixes/updates are deployment-ready

• On-call & on-site – Support when needed, including weekend deployments (off-in-lieu provided)

• Continuous improvement – Participate in root cause analysis & ad hoc projects

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar

• 1+ years of experience in IT/software support but we are also open to fresh graduates with a willingness to learn

• Strong English communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills

• High commitment, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team

• Multi-tasker who’s strategic, creative and dynamic

Bonus Points For

• MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL, React JS, or shell scripting

• Familiarity with Git, Jira, or ActiveMQ
