Location: Gombak, Malaysia
As an IT Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of the next generation of IT professionals. Your responsibilities span teaching, curriculum development, research, and community engagement, aiming to deliver an outstanding educational experience.
Candidate is a member of the staff of the Department of Information Technology (DIS) assigned by KICT and shall perform teaching, examining, and research duties and other obligations normally required of an academic staff member of IIUM.
Candidate should also undertake moral and religious obligations in relation to colleagues and students as part of duties as a member of the academic staff of IIUM.
Candidate is required to attend any meetings related to administrative positions held, mandated by appointments made under IIUM under directives issued by the Rector, Dean, or Head of the Kulliyyah / Centre / Department / Institute / Office / Mahallah.
In higher education context, competencies typically encompass a blend of academic qualifications, teaching abilities, research skills, and personal attributes that enable effective education delivery, student engagement, and contributions to the academic community. Prior experience in teaching and research in the higher education sector is an added advantage.

A strong track record of published research and participation in the academic community is highly desirable.
All candidates must have obtained:
a. Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government (for Malaysian citizens).
b. IELTS Band 6 / MUET Band 4. Candidates without any of these qualifications will be required to sit for the IIUM English Language Proficiency Test.
