LATEST POSITION

We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our Procurement team and assist in the execution of procurement activities in accordance with company policies and procedures. Reporting to a Senior Buyer or Procurement Specialist, this role will support procurement operations of low to medium complexity, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services and compliance with procurement standards.

The Junior Buyer will contribute to purchase execution, supplier coordination, and accurate documentation. This role will focus on supporting day-to-day procurement tasks, maintaining records, and assisting in optimizing procurement performance across assigned categories. The Junior Buyer will also be expected to stay informed about updates and adapt to changes in procurement processes as automation is introduced. The ability to evolve with the project and embrace new technologies and methods will be essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily procurement operations by preparing purchase orders, requesting quotations, and following up with vendors promptly and accurately.
• Monitor end-to-end delivery of goods and services, track progress, follow up with vendors, and resolve delivery or invoicing issues proactively. Escalate complex matters when necessary.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing timely updates on procurement status and advising on potential delays or issues affecting purchase requests.
• Assist in procurement-related projects by executing assigned tasks or managing small-scale initiatives under guidance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in compliance with company policies, ensuring efficient and reliable support.
• Develop category-specific procurement knowledge through guidance from senior colleagues and internal resources.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve routine procurement queries.
• Prepare standard procurement reports, presentations, and data analyses to support operational needs and decision-making.
• Continuously enhance procurement knowledge by staying informed on market trends, supplier capabilities, and purchasing best practices to contribute to team objectives.
• Adapt to changes in procurement processes driven by the ongoing S2P project, and embrace new technologies and methods.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or any related field.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience with procure-to-pay (P2P) processes and basic contract terms is an advantage.
• Familiarity with sourcing, supplier coordination, and transactional procurement operations.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional and multicultural environment, and willingness to learn.
