A leading cinema company in Malaysia is seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and implement innovative strategies for local and blockbuster movie campaigns. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in marketing, with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. Take the spotlight in shaping movie promotions, partnerships and local area marketing campaigns that excite cinema goers and movie lovers nationwide!
Develop and implement marketing strategies for local and blockbuster movie campaigns, as well as local area marketing (LAM) initiatives.
Manage budgets effectively to meet company objectives.
Collaborate with partners, movie distributors and suppliers to develop impactful promotions that boost admissions and sales.
Plan and execute timely initiatives to drive awareness, visibility and footfall to cinemas.
Lead cross-functional teams: distributors, operations, sales and marketing for flawless campaign rollouts.
Develop creative ideas based on audience insights and consumer behaviour.
Ensure every activation and partnership reflects the fun, energy and innovation of the GSC brand.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on budgets, marketing plans and advertising efforts.
Work with agencies and partners to deliver on-ground events, digital content and brand activations.
Maintain consistency of branding across all campaigns and touchpoints.
Provide post-campaign analysis with key learnings and recommendations for improvement.
Track A&P budgets, competitor activities and industry trends.
Analyse customer behaviour to identify tactical opportunities for engagement and retention.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
5+ years’ experience in marketing, brand, or promotional management (entertainment, retail or FMCG background preferred).
Strong analytical mindset with experience in ROI/ROM evaluation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Creative, proactive and results-driven. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A collaborative leader with solid planning and execution skills.
