Associate, Loan Platforms Account Services
Location: Kuala Lumpur
The ClearPar Loan Operations division is seeking a professional with excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills to join our global Loan Platforms Account Services Team.
Working Hours
4:30pm-1:30am Malaysia Time (with the possibility of switching to local standard time as business needs evolve); Hybrid Remote Model (subject to change as business needs evolve).
Impact
The successful candidate will be a key part of the Loan Platforms team, responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of our Syndicated Loan Market offering and supporting the questions and requests of our internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Support our clients and the business with operational duties and all account maintenance support functions to ensure sufficient data integrity. These include accurately reviewing onboarding documentation, creation and maintenance of entity identifiers, user and trade accounts across multiple platforms, assisting clients on specific self‑service functionalities, and remaining knowledgeable on various platform integrations.
- Provide onboarding support for new clients, their team members, and accounts as requested, ensuring a smooth and effective quality‑controlled onboarding process across multiple products.
- Strictly adhere to internal procedures, processing deadlines, quality‑controlled operational processes, and LSTA/LMA standards for processing and closure of primary and secondary par loan transactions and/or trades.
- Pro‑actively identify internal and external account and system‑related issues, working seamlessly with internal partners and management on resolution plans and/or additional escalations.
- Capture and channel user feedback through proper communication and listening skills. Partner with leaders, peers, product associates, sales, and relationship managers on required projects to service clients and facilitate continuous improvement of products and services.
- Cross‑train with neighboring divisions of the firm to provide an agile workforce capable of handling issues and engaging with joint clients.

- Customer service experience from any field is a plus.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise.
- Ability to organize and prioritize complex issues and projects to completion.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in working with internet‑based applications.
- Ability to think laterally, provide proper issue analyses, and question current processes.
- Eager to learn with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong process improvement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Economics, or related field preferred).
- 1–3 years of work experience within the financial and/or syndicated loan industry.
- Fresh graduates with strong interest in client management or operations can be considered.
- Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
- Salesforce experience.
