Associate IT Operations & Systems Support
Ever wondered what’s happening behind the scenes when someone exchanges cash or sends money overseas? At Famie, you’ll work close to the systems that power a licensed money services business—where rates, compliance checks, settlement flows, and branch operations come together in real time.
This isn’t typical “office IT.” You’ll support the core platform used across our branches and HQ and get a clear view of how money changing and remittance operations run day to day.
Your Mission
Keep the core platform running reliably so money exchange and remittance transactions stay smooth, secure, and audit-ready. You’ll do this by supporting users and customers, coordinating with service providers, and driving issues to closure—without changing the application code.
What you’ll be doing
- Support branch and HQ staff on the core system and day-to-day IT issues.
- Provide first‑line support to customers: handle enquiries/complaints, answer service questions, collect key details, and pass complex cases to the right team.
- Troubleshoot technical issues: try to reproduce, collect evidence, and elevate to service providers when needed.
- Log and track issues in the ticketing process, keep users/customers updated, and close cases with clear notes.
- Do basic proactive checks (alerts/status dashboards, recurring issues) and raise problems early.
- Help coordinate system changes and updates, including UAT support and post‑deployment checks.
- Support during outages/service disruptions: share updates to branches and follow up with providers until things are back to normal.
- Support basic security and data handling: keep devices updated, check endpoint protection status, follow access rules, and escalated suspected risks/incidents.
- Maintain simple user guides and keep audit/compliance records (tickets, incident notes, change records, SOPs).
- Perform other IT‑related duties as assigned, as responsibilities may evolve over time.

- Good troubleshooting habits, attention to detail, and clear communication with non‑technical users
- Can work with minimal supervision and has a sense of urgency when support is needed
- Comfortable working with service providers and following up until things are done
- Can document issues and steps clearly (tickets, basic how‑to notes)
