Job summary

A leading logistics provider in Iskandar Puteri is seeking an Associate Executive for Contract Logistics/SCM, Customer Service. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with policies, manage shipping documentation, and coordinate import/export processes. Required skills include good communication, organizational capabilities, and proficiency in MS Office. Candidates with SAP knowledge and IATA DG certification will be preferred. This is a contract position located in Johor, Malaysia.

Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarders preferred.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines and multitask.
  • Self-initiative individual who can work well in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all paperwork is in order and comply with company policies.
  • Prepare shipping documentation like Shipping Instruction and Bill of Lading.
  • Manage import/export procedures and liaise with Customs and transporters.
  • Keep meticulous records of shipment information.

Contract

Our Client is one of the world's leading logistics providers and has a significant presence in Malaysia.Our Client specializes in providing integrated logistics services, including freight forwarding, supply chain management, and contract logistics. They are seeking for a project manager with an experience in warehouse/3PL operations to coordinate and execute projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery. A technical background, along with PMP/Prince II certification, is preferred for managing stakeholders and project documentation.

Job Overview:

Our Client is seeking for anAssociate Executive-Contract Logistics/SCM, Customer Service.The role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, preparing shipping documentation, managing import/export procedures, and liaising with clients, customs, and transporters. It requires good communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office, with preference given to candidates with relevant experience, SAP knowledge, and IATA DG certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all paperwork are in order and in compliance with the company policies.
  • Prepare Shipping Documentation such as Shipping Instruction, Packing List, Invoices, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, Dangerous Good form IATA & IMDG and Pre-alert to Customers.
  • Import and Export procedure.
  • Handle of Customs requirement and Documentation such as ZB1, ZB2, K8, K2 & K1.
  • Liaising and communicate with Port Management such as request CMR (Container Movement Request).
  • Communicate with Customers and Client and able to resolve any complaint.
  • Able to communicate with Customers order Management on all order fulfillment and related issues.
  • Liaising and communicate with Customers or and Transporter, Shipping Lines, Air freight, Ocean Freight & Freight Forwarder.
  • Monitor and coordinate for Transportation and Trucking timely.
  • Able to keep a meticulous record of shipment information.
  • Data Entry and Other assignments.

Requirements:

  • Min. SPM / Diploma / Degree holder.
  • Preferably with 1 - 2 year of relevant experience in Freight Forwarders.
  • Must be computer literate able to use MS World, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Good communication in English, Bahasa, and Customer Service Skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
  • IATA DG certified is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage time well to meet tight deadlines and multi-task.
  • Able to work under stress and adaptable to changes.
  • Self-initiative individual who can work well in a team.
