We are looking for Associate Engineer – GIS to support day-to-day GIS (Geographic Information System) operations, ensuring the platform runs smoothly and efficiently across the organization. This role provides hands-on support to users, helps maintain system integrity, and contributes to the continuous improvement of GIS processes to enable informed business decisions.

Make an impact by:

  • Act as the main point of contact for GIS users, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Provide Level 1 support for GIS-related issues, including account access, basic troubleshooting, and usage queries
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents through the internal ticketing system
  • Coordinate with IT teams on escalation from the user, change requests, and system updates
  • Perform basic testing and validation during deployments or configuration changes
  • Support user onboarding, training, and communication for GIS system enhancements or new features
  • Maintain documentation, user guides, and knowledge base entries to facilitate user self-help
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, data integrity, and compliance policies within the GIS platform
  • Any other assigned task by supervisors
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with GIS systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve system-related issues
  • Basic knowledge of service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA)
