Associate Director, Fund Administration Transformation & Strategic Initiatives
Job Description
What will you do?
- Strategic Transformation Leadership – Define and execute the transformation roadmap for Fund Administration in alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced control frameworks. Translate strategic goals into actionable projects with measurable outcomes and timelines.
- Program & Change Delivery – Lead and oversee end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, including technology implementations, process re-engineering, and control enhancements. Ensure effective governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across all programs. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners – Fund Accounting, Client Operations, Technology, and Risk – to ensure cohesive delivery and adoption.
- Operating Model & Process Excellence – Design and implement standardized operating models and control processes across Fund Administration functions. Drive continuous improvement through analytics, workflow optimization, and automation initiatives. Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure success and sustain improvements.
- Governance, Risk & Control – Strengthen the control environment by embedding robust risk management and compliance practices in transformation activities. Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Audit to ensure alignment with regulatory and operational standards. Maintain clear governance structures for issue escalation, reporting, and decision‑making.
- Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership – Act as the key liaison between Fund Administration and senior stakeholders for transformation initiatives. Lead structured change management programs to support process and system transitions. Communicate vision, progress, and outcomes effectively across all levels of the organization.

Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA, CFA, or equivalent). MBA or Project Management certification preferred.
- 10‑15 years of experience in Fund Administration or related operations, with proven success in transformation or strategic delivery.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, NAV oversight, and financial reporting processes.
- Experience leading cross‑functional programs and managing change within complex organizations.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
