Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for an Associate, Communications to take the lead on our consumer PR and corporate communications efforts. This role is for someone who enjoys building campaigns from the ground up and owning their execution. You'll have the autonomy to manage regional campaigns and oversee our 'newsroom' operations, including media intelligence and list management. If you have a knack for spotting news opportunities, pitching them effectively, and securing impactful coverage, you'll find a great home here.

What You Will Do

Drive the end-to-end execution of consumer PR campaigns across seven markets, from concept to coverage.

Manage our media monitoring and media list tools, ensuring data accuracy and insightful trend analysis.

Serve as the primary writer for the team, leveraging AI tools to accelerate initial drafts before refining the final narrative.

Own the integrity of our public communications, leading verification processes with stakeholders for accuracy.

Act as a guardian of our brand reputation by managing media inquiries related to trust and safety.

Proactively identify and pitch relevant media trends and news hooks to leadership.

Ensure campaign launches meet scheduled timelines by effectively managing stakeholder input.

Handle day-to-day safety and scam-related media queries independently.

Qualifications

A strong grasp of the media landscape, including different media tiers and current pitching trends.

Comfort with adopting new technologies like AI, media databases, and analytics tools to enhance workflows.

A keen sense for what constitutes a compelling PR story versus internal communication.

High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all communications.

Proficiency in English and Traditional Chinese (written and spoken), with the ability to draft and localise communications for Taiwan and Hong Kong markets.

Experience in building targeted media lists using tools like Telum.

A proven ability to produce polished drafts that require minimal tonal adjustments.

Familiarity with analysing media intelligence reports to derive actionable insights.
