Job Description

As an Associate, you\'ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Role specific

  • Assist in the assessment and analysis of clients\' financial and operational performance.
  • Support the development and implementation of business recovery and restructuring strategies.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate potential recovery solutions.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and senior team members.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy of data.
  • Assist in the development of cash flow forecasts, budgets, and business plans.
  • Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support clients in negotiations with creditors, stakeholders, and other parties involved in the restructuring process.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes that may impact business recovery efforts.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business recovery methodologies and tools.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate completion of business recovery engagements.

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline and/or a professional accounting qualification such as the ICAEW / ACCA /MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to understand key business drivers
  • Strong leadership, teamwork and client servicing skills
  • Strong communication skills in both oral and written English
  • Demonstration of strong understanding of fundamentals in financial analysis, accounting principles, and business operations is an added advantage.

  • Able to demonstrate ability to interact with people of different backgrounds and build meaningful relationships
