Seeking an experienced Assistant QA cum R&D Manager to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products, as well as driving research and development initiatives to enhance our offerings.

What you’ll be doing
  • To conduct & monitor verification activities to fulfill with HACCP / GMP/ HALAL requirement.
  • To ensure the system compliance to HACCP/ GMP/ HALAL requirement.
  • Participancy role as a Food Safety Management Team member for ensuring proper documentation control of forms & records in compliance with HACCP/ GMP/ HALAL.
  • Review & updated SOP, procedures, flow diagrams, hazard analysis, CCP & OPRP summary plan.
  • Responsible to handle customer complaint & product recall.
  • Manage all long term & short term R&D projects to meet all company & customer objectives & ensure that all meet the regulatory guideline.
  • Conduct product formulation, view & sensory tasting to provide solution for improving product quality.
  • Responsible to review procedure, protocols & specification needed to support product development activities & ensure test result, timelines, specification & procedures are in standard format for inclusion in documentation databases.
  • To perform Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Top Management from time to time.
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry
  • Proven track record in managing quality assurance and research and development functions
  • Excellent understanding of food safety regulations, quality control procedures, and product development processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools for quality management and product development
