The successful candidate will assist in developing and implementing SME Collections strategies, improve reporting tools, and work closely with internal teams. Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in the banking environment focusing on credit and collections.
  • Knowledge of credit evaluation, legal documentation, and recovery processes.
  • Understanding of BNM regulatory guidelines.

  • Assist in developing SME Collections strategies aligned with Bank objectives.
  • Evaluate and coordinate external service providers to enhance collections.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and implementing SME Collections strategies aligned with the Bank’s objectives.
  • Support the evaluation and coordination of external service providers to enhance collection efforts, including performance tracking through MIS.
  • Maintain and improve MIS dashboards and reporting tools to monitor collection activities.
  • Work closely with SME Remedial teams to align MIS and analytics efforts, particularly in early warning triggers, rehabilitation tracking, and portfolio monitoring.
  • Analyze delinquency trends, impaired loan ratios, and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) to support strategy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across SME Collections, Remedial, Risk, and Business units to ensure effective execution of credit strategies.

  • Programming language: SAS & SQL.
  • Other Programming language like Python, MATLAB, R, VBA is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work closely with all other relevant parties
KNOWLEDGE
  • Knowledge of credit evaluation / legal documentation / general recovery processes
  • Product knowledge (Types of credit products/legal documentation)
  • Proficiency in Windows (Word / Excel)
Experience
  • Preferably 5 to 8 years in the banking environment with emphasis in credit / collection / remedial / sales
  • Well verse in BNM regulatory guidelines
  • Good knowledge of judicial/legal systems and other related loan management matters
