Job description

To develop and introduce differentiated and innovative Shariah compliant banking products and services or programmes that align with the Bank’s strategic goals and aspirations.

Responsibilities

• a. Conduct research on market offerings and trends within the banking industry.
• b. Project manage the end to end product development process which includes:
  • Product ideation and conceptualisation
  • Preparation of project plan and establishment of working group
  • Obtaining approval in accordance with the product governance process
  • Preparation of test plan and performing user acceptance testing
  • Leading discussions with the working group and monitoring the progress of all deliverables.
  • Working with external partners (if any).
  • Conducting training prior to launch of product/service and refresher training whenever required.
• c. Dealing with internal control functions, the regulators, external auditors, consultants and panel solicitors whenever necessary.
• d. Ensuring compliance to Shariah and regulatory requirements at all times.
