We're seeking a motivated and hands‑on Assistant Utility Officer to join our esteemed pharmaceutical company. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Utilities
Perform routine inspections, checks, and maintenance according to time‑based schedules to ensure optimal performance. Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system and manage schedule waste in compliance with DOE requirement. Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, including service logs, checklists, and daily activity reports. Conduct preventive maintenance and minor corrective repairs on mechanical and electrical components to reduce downtime and maintain system integrity.
- Assuring Quality
Commitment to maintaining high‑quality work standard, ensuring accuracy, reliability and compliance in all tasks.
- Regulatory Compliance
Maintain full compliance with GMP, OSHA, DOE and other regulations to ensure a safe and lawful working environment.
- Participate in improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety and operational excellence.
Analyse recurring issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Diverse Roles
Undertake additional related tasks as assigned by the head office and your supervisor to support the company's objectives.
Who We’re Looking For
- Academic Excellence – Preferably having at least SPM/STPM/Diploma in Engineering (Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical / Electronic) or Science or equivalent.
- Experience – 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with a strong passion for the industry are encouraged to apply, or experienced in dealing with utilities (HVAC System, Air Compressor System, DI Water system).
- Proactive, responsible, and independent work ethic.
- Strong practical skills and willingness to learn.
- Good teamwork, communication and responsibility.
- Self‑motivated with initiative and attention to detail.
- Good electrical & mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
