Job summary

A leading medical solution provider in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant/Supervisor for its Warehouse team. This role is integral for managing daily operations, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring accurate stock handling. Candidates must have a minimum SPM qualification and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Physical fitness is required, as tasks involve significant movement and equipment handling. This position offers dynamic engagement in the medical segment of the company.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a Assistant/ Supervisor, Warehouse to join our team in the Medical Segment .

This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of goods. Key responsibilities include confirming packing lists, liaising with transporters, coordinating with production and supply teams, and ensuring proper stock handling and documentation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Confirm packing list.
  • Liaise with transporters for daily delivery loading.
  • Coordinate with Production/Supply to ensure sufficient parts for delivery.
  • Provide on-the-job training to all subordinates.
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time.
  • Ensure correct quantity and parts are delivered.
  • Confirm goods receipt quantity.
  • Receive and issue semi-parts, raw materials, standard parts, and packing materials.
  • Ensure stock in/out updates are accurately reflected in the system.
  • Ensure stock issuance follows production order quantities.
  • Closely monitor stock status.
  • Perform internal stock checks.
  • Prepare shipment labels.
  • Conduct stock count activities.
  • Ensure all store vehicles (e.g., forklift, VNA, reach truck) are in good condition and record daily vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Ensure correct parts and layout are loaded into containers as per the prepared layout.
  • Perform duties of subordinates during their absence.
  • Act as auditee for Warehouse during Internal Quality Audits.
  • Carry out other responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.
  • Ensure effective implementation of ISO 13485:2016 requirements.
  • Ensure effective implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Promote and develop high levels of Health, Safety & Environmental awareness and commitment.
  • Ensure EHS requirements in the workplace are met.
  • Adhere to safety and health rules and safe work systems.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum SPM & above. MUST know to read & write Bahasa Malaysia & English.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in related field.
  • Must be computer literate & able to work independently.
Additional Details
  • Able to perform duty for 8 hours or 12 hours rotating 2 or 3 shifts.
  • Able to work in standing position during shift operation & carry materials up to 50lbs.
  • Physically fit to work according to company health check.
  • Having medical devices manufacturing industrial, knowing GMP & GDP procedures is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of 5S standard manufacturing.
  • Computer/ Data entry knowledge in work, excel and outlook.
  • Forklift driver license.
  • Familiar with SAP transactions.
  • Able to handle Customs/LMW related documentations & applications.
  • Able to manage or participate in Customs/LMW related audits.
