Job summary

A retail and distribution company in Selangor seeks an experienced sales professional to develop and execute sales strategies across retail and wholesale channels. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in FMCG and is skilled in managing relationships with trade partners. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail, trading, FMCG, wholesale, or distribution environments.
  • Direct experience in kitchenware, home & living products, consumer goods, or retail chains is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing retail accounts, distributors, or wholesale customers.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, trade marketing, sell-in/sell-out mechanics, and inventory flow.
  • Experience negotiating commercial terms, promotions, and trade agreements.

Job description

Work closely with the Business Manager and senior management to develop and execute sales strategies for retail, wholesale, and distributor channels.

Manage and optimize sell-in and sell-out performance across retail partners and trade accounts.

Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities within the kitchenware / household / FMCG retail market.

Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key trade partners.

Support negotiations on pricing, promotions, listings, and commercial terms with trade customers.

Oversee day-to-day sales operations to ensure efficient execution, stock availability, and profitability.

Collaborate with marketing and operations teams on product launches, promotions, and merchandising initiatives.

Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for senior management.

Provide product and sales training to internal teams and retail partners as needed.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail, trading, FMCG, wholesale, or distribution environments.
