Assistant Sales Manager - Medical Channel

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager - Medical Channel to lead and manage a team of Sales Representatives covering General Practitioners (GPs) nationwide.

This role is pivotal in driving sales performance, ensuring effective territory coverage, and strengthening doctor engagement to achieve monthly and annual targets aligned with company objectives.

Job Summary

As an Assistant Sales Manager – Medical Channel, your key tasks include:

  • Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of GP sales representatives to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Conducting regular field visits (minimum 3 days per week) for joint calls, performance evaluation, and on-the-job coaching.
  • Setting clear sales objectives, KPIs, and activity plans for each team member, and reviewing performance weekly and monthly.
  • Implementing sales strategies and promotional plans to ensure product visibility and optimal doctor coverage across key GP clinics.
  • Identifying new business opportunities within the GP channel and driving product focus in alignment with marketing priorities.
  • Gathering market insights and competitor intelligence through structured field reports and providing feedback for strategy refinement.
  • Organizing continuous training programs to close capability gaps and mentoring high‑potential team members for future leadership roles.
  • Ensuring operational excellence through accurate reporting, territory allocation, and compliance with ethical sales practices.
  • Collaborating with marketing, regulatory, and supply chain teams for smooth execution and synergy across channels.
Qualifications & Experience
