Support the Finance team in managing room revenue performance by controlling inventory, monitoring demand, maintaining pricing and availability, and producing analytical reports that guide commercial and operational decisions. The role ensures accurate room availability, healthy occupancy, and disciplined revenue practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory and Availability Management

    Monitor daily room inventory by category and update availability as needed.

    Open or close room types based on readiness, demand, and direction from Finance.

    Maintain accurate status for rooms temporarily unavailable or under maintenance.

    Prevent oversell situations through careful tracking of total capacity versus bookings.

  2. Pricing and Revenue Support

    Assist in updating room rates, packages, and promotions across sales channels.

    Track market trends and competitor benchmarks for pricing decisions.

    Support yield adjustments on high-demand or low-demand periods.

    Assist in preparing revenue plans and tactical recommendations.

  3. Reporting and Analysis

    Prepare daily pickup, occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR reports.

    Produce weekly and monthly performance summaries for management.

    Monitor forecast variances and highlight potential gaps or opportunities.

    Maintain clean datasets and historical trend records.

  4. Channel and Distribution Oversight

    Ensure all booking channels reflect correct rates, restrictions, and availability.

    Assist with inventory loading to direct website, partners, and any distribution platforms.

    Check for rate parity issues and follow up to resolve discrepancies.

    Monitor booking pace across channels.

  5. Forecasting and Planning

    Support short-term and medium-term demand forecasting across room categories.

    Assist with budget inputs for occupancy, ADR, and revenue streams.

    Track performance against forecast and highlight deviations.

  6. Process, System, and SOP Management

    Maintain standard operating procedures for inventory control, pricing updates, and distribution workflows.

    Work with internal teams or vendors on system configuration or troubleshooting.

    Strengthen controls to ensure accuracy and auditability of revenue-related data.

  7. Cross-Functional Coordination

    Work closely with Front Office and Hotel Operations to ensure room readiness aligns with published availability.

    Coordinate with Sales/Marketing on promotions, blocked dates, and special events.

    Communicate any major shifts in occupancy or demand to relevant teams.

Qualifications
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in hotel revenue, reservations, or inventory management.
  • Strong proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of revenue management principles and hospitality metrics.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and handle high-volume periods.
  • Clear communication and coordination skills across departments.
  • Experience with hospitality systems (PMS, CRS, channel manager) is an advantage but not required.
