Job summary

A telecommunications firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Project Director to lead network contractor projects and manage a technician team. The ideal candidate will have strong project cost control skills and customer relationship management experience, with the ability to respond promptly to urgent client requirements. Frequent travel and potential short-term assignments are expected. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Chinese is preferred for communication with headquarters.

Qualifications

• Experience with TM Network Contractors (NeC) projects, including both network-facing and customer-facing roles.
• Proven experience managing an in-house technician team of at least 20 and subcontractor management.
• Strong background in project cost control and customer relationship building.
• Highly responsible, with the ability to respond promptly to urgent requirements from clients and internal management.
• Based in KL or Bentong–Raub, with frequent business travel and occasional short-term on-site assignments.
• Fluent in English (minimum). Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage to communicate with HQ.
