Our Client:

We are partnering with a global technology and engineering leader with a strong presence in Asia. The company focuses on automation, process optimization, and industrial performanceạc improvement. As part of its strategic growth, they are looking for an Assistant Production Manager to strengthen their supplier quality operations in the region.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain a safe work environment by implementing safety standards across assembly lines, machines, and tools to ensure efficient production.
  • Set up, monitor, and track manufacturing KPIs and production objectives, developing plans to achieve targets.
  • Oversee production workflow and schedules, ensuring projects progress smoothly and deadlines are met.
  • Optimize processes to minimize waste, enhance productivity, and maintain product quality through process controls and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
  • Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Supervise management of staff performance; delegate tasks, address skill gaps, and support team development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage resources, tools, equipment, operating expenses, CAPEX projects, and resolve bottlenecks in the production process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, including mass production or engineered/make-to-order high-mix-low-volume operations.
  • Strong technical proficiency with machinery, tools, and production equipment.
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Practical experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma problem-solving methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
